This project lets students design their own Ferris Wheel (using a template). They will use the template to find very specific features and information about their Ferris Wheel including the number of cars, various heights above the ground, angular/linear speed, and creating a trigonometric model. They will even demonstrate the validity of their model by finding a table of values and creating a graph of a ride in one cycle. The project includes the template with a video link walking students through how to start the project. A rubric and sample are also included.
