This project will allow students to create a 3D model of a realistic object by using GeoGebra Online software (2D and 3D calculators) and find their objects volume mathematically with formulas and tools in the online software. They will use the 2D calculator to make a cross section of their object and use the 3D calculator by rotating cross section around x-axis to make 3D solids. By taking screenshots and computing work, students will make an Infographic providing information about their object and its volume. They will see that their math they used to find volume should match the volume they calculated using the 3D calculator. The project includes detailed directions, rubric, and a sample to help student see what expectation of the project is all about.
