This activity forces students to practice solving exponential and logarithmic equations (including word problems) and use critical thinking/deductive reasoning skills to solve a mystery. As a student works on a problem and gets to a correct answer, they will eliminate clues (suspects, last known whereabouts (location & time) and weapon). Once completed all problems, they will be able to complete the blanks in the conclusion using their evidence and solve the murder mystery! The activity has a key with work. A scavenger hunt format of this activity is also included!
