Fill in the blank copy of Guided notes and its key. The notes can be easily printed for students or downloadable for any device.
 
This lesson is from my NC Math 3 Curriculum (in Unit # 5) but could be also used in Geometry.
 
Note: This set of guided notes includes a Collage Sheet of all the pics (and a folder with all the individual pics) to complete the notes...I feel that is best (if have time and money to buy some Play Doh and floss) that students actual physically make the cross sections for the chart as from experience they understand it more. I've also done this where my students make slideshow or mini-video of their cross sections. The Collage Sheet was made for distance learning as students couldn't physically make the figures and cross sections.
